I registered for Shakeema Perry class called Elevate Your Credit Score. I registered because I want to better my credit. Ultimately, I want to become a homeowner next year. Even though I know this, I was still intimidated by the challenge.
You see, even though someone purchases your products, that doesn't mean they'll get results. They have to do the work. Shakeema Perry listened to me and created a group for those of us who purchased her class because she realized that we still needed help.
She gave us assignments that I avoided doing because...I THOUGHT MY DREAM WAS TRULY OUT OF REACH. I thought my credit was THAT BAD. Yes, sometimes your clients will invest and have good intentions but won't take action because they think they can't really achieve the goal. A GREAT coach knows this and provides support. They also aren't afraid to nudge their clients into action.
Shakeema Perry kept pushing us to check our credit, etc. I finally did it yesterday because I had some free time. TO MY SURPRISE...my credit wasn't as bad as I thought. I'M MUCH CLOSER TO MY DREAM THAN I BELIEVE!!! Now I am MOTIVATED to do the work.
As a coach, you have to commit to your client's success and recognize when fear is stopping them from taking action.
